I’ve seen Murphy beds, but only on TV😂 I wanted an expert & a family owned business is surely a plus~ just a... couple of reasons why I chose this location & Mr Ty has a voice you can listen to all day😊 Mr Ty explained ALL the details like a memorized record AND he gave me a good price on 2 queen size Murphy beds w/mattress: 1 for my snowbird Mom & another for the occasional visitor(s)- Hollywood Murphy Bed Sleep Shop did NOT disappoint! If Mr Ty said 4pm, it was 4pm, if Mr Ty said he’d call- he did! This is a professional business😉 My queen size guest bed arrived 1st & My moms queen size bed was built to order & actually set up in my home. The customer service has been great, the owner Ty is super sweet and accommodating. When I first went into the store I... wasn’t sure what to go and I was working with a budget. The sales rep was so patient. I order the Murphy bed April 30 and was told it would take 6 weeks to fabricate and deliver and it was on time. The installers worked clean, were professional and had a great image. I would definitely recommend this company.read more

My husband and I bought a murphy bed with side cabinets from the Murphy Bed Sleep Shop. It has now been installed for... six weeks and we love it. It is in the master bedroom, we sleep on every night and, with the memory foam mattress, is totally comfortable. We also have a spacious room when the bed is up. The deliver time was short—just about a month--and the finished product looks very good. This was a great experience.We went to the store to browse, since we were debating whether to “order a kit” and do it ourselves. We were greeted by Ron, who with all the patience in the world, explained to us the alternatives available, the prices, etc. After more than an hour in the store we left, and I STILL had questions, so I went the next day, and sat with Ron for another hour in front of one of the sample beds they had in the store, and started looking at alternative, type of knobs, etc. My husband did not dare to come back with me because he felt bad I was taking so much time to make sure all the details were perfect.We first were thinking of using the murphy bed for guests. I sat on the bed that they had in the showroom, and found it so comfortable, that decided to give a shot at putting it in the master bedroom instead, and used it on a daily basis. Six weeks already and loving it.Interestingly, it takes less time to make the murphy bed, than a regular bed. I timed it!! It is light enough for anybody in the house to lift it.We also were concern about space, and Ty went to the apartment, made meticulous measurement, and make sure that when it came, it would fit exactly in the space. He made some “tweeks” to the original design to make it perfect.In summary, as you can tell, we definitely recommend Murphy bed Sleep Shop. 5 Stars!read more

Not knowing much about Murphy Beds, I checked out online half a dozen local & national Murphy Bed companies. I narrowed... my research down to this place. I ended up ordering a king Murphy Bed unit for my son's bedroom. The owner, "Ty", demonstrated many of the units in his showroom, and since the quality looked good, and that Ty explained the differences between them, I realized that this was a good company to place my order with. The delivered and installed unit was exceptional and beyond my original expectations. My son, who is a fairly big guy, is very happy with its comfort and how it folds into the wall unit making his bedroom more spacious. I am a picky person, and Ty and his company lived up to truly ethical and professional business standards.read more
